A Love Letter to You

Dear one,

If you're reading this, something in your life is shifting. Maybe it's quiet — a slow loosening of who you used to be. Maybe it's loud — a door closing before you were ready. Either way, here you are, standing in the in-between.

I want you to know there is nothing wrong with you for feeling unsteady. A shift is not a sign that you're failing. It's a sign that you're being rearranged — and rearrangement, even when it aches, is how we make room for what's next.

You don't have to have the words yet. You don't have to be grateful before you're ready. You're allowed to grieve what's gone and hope for what's coming at the very same time.

You are not too much. You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are a woman becoming, and becoming was always meant to be tender work.

And you don't have to do it by yourself. That's the part I most need you to hear. Somewhere not far from you, another woman is awake tonight with her own version of this — and she would be so relieved to know you're out there too.

So breathe. Rest your hand on your heart. You are seen, you are held, and you are not alone in this.

With love, Sherrain
